Construction projects tend to experience delays, where there is a discrepancy between the planned schedule and the actual schedule. In an effort to overcome delays in the implementation of construction projects, project acceleration is carried out using the crashing method with the aim of knowing more efficient project durations at optimal costs. In this study, acceleration of project duration was carried out using the crashing method on the South Sumatra Police Headquarters building construction project because until the 12th week out of a total of 21 work weeks there was a delay with a deviation of 9.8592%, so crashing was carried out with an overtime scenario of 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours. hours and 4 hours. Based on the analysis that has been carried out where 1 hour of overtime causes the duration to be 56 days or 8.197% faster than the normal duration with a total cost of Rp. 17,948,240,706.00 or 0.021% more efficient than the normal total cost, 2 hours overtime causes the duration of the project to be 54 days or 11.475% faster than the normal duration with a total cost of Rp. 17,955,223,484.78 or 0.017% more expensive than the normal total cost, 3 hours overtime causes the duration to be 53 days or 13.115% faster than the normal duration with a total cost of Rp. 17,960,240,875.63 or 0.045% more expensive than the normal cost and 4 hours of overtime causes the duration of the project to be 51 days or 16.393% faster than the normal duration with a total cost of Rp. 18,017,220,228.36 or 0.363% more expensive than the normal fee. It can be concluded based on the analysis that has been carried out where 1 hour overtime is an alternative to accelerating project duration that is more efficient at optimal costs because the duration is 8.197% faster than the normal project duration and the total cost is 0.021% more efficient than the normal total project cost.
