ANALISIS PENGHEMATAN KONSUMSI ENERGI LISTRIK DI GEDUNG JURUSAN TEKNIK ELEKTRO FAKULTAS TEKNIK UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
Electrical energy is a critical requirement for human life, both in industry and in everyday life settings such as homes. A field analysis can be used to save electrical energy by determining whether or not electrical energy is efficient. We can discover and implement energy savings through an energy audit if efficiency is increased. As a result, these data can be used to generate recommendations for reducing energy consumption (IKE). By calculating the energy consumption intensity from the first to second floors of the Electrical Engineering Department Building, Faculty of Engineering, Sriwijaya University, the energy consumption intensity value is 72.450 kWh/m2/year. With the value of the Energy Consumption Intensity, it can be classified as very efficient based on a predetermined standard of air-conditioned buildings of 50-95 kWh/m2/year. The monthly cost savings obtained by replacing a 36-watt TL lamp with an 18-watt LED lamp is Rp. 25.304.091,2 - Rp. 23.100.899,28 = Rp. 2.203.191,924. When compared to TL-type lights, LED lights have the advantage of consuming less electricity. As a result, even though the power of the LED lamp is lower than that of the TL lamp, it can produce the same amount of light. Keywords : Electrical energy, Audit Energy, IKE, LED Light
