HUBUNGAN ANTARA FAKTOR RISIKO OSTEOARTRITIS DENGAN DERAJAT GANGGUAN FUNGSIONAL PADA PASIEN OSTEOARTRITIS LUTUT DI KLINIK SU'ADAH PALEMBANG
Introduction: Osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative joint disease characterized by damage to the joint cartilage and subchondral bone which causes pain in the joints. OA is a multifactorial disease caused by environmental and genetic components. This study aims to determine the relationship between OA risk factors and the degree of functional disorders in patients with knee OA at the Su'adah Clinic Palembang. Method: This research is an analytic study with a cross-sectional design. The research sample was obtained by consecutive sampling method. The total sample is 52 people who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data regarding OA risk factors were obtained based on structured interviews based on questionnaires. Data processing uses SPSS with univariate and bivariate analysis. Results: In the results of the Chi-Square test, this study showed a significant relationship between gender (p=0.013), family history (p=0.026), history of obesity (p=0.032) and history of risky activities (p=0.026) with the degree of functional disorders. There is no relationship between history of knee injury, work history, history of malalignment and smoking with the degree of functional impairment. Conclusion: Gender, history of obesity, family history and history of risky activity have a significant relationship to the degree of functional disorders. Meanwhile, age, history of knee injury, history of risky activities, work history and history of malalignment had no relationship to the degree of functional disorders.
