Background: According to the 2018 riskesdas data, 31.8% people of South Sumatra Province have dental and oral health problems. One of the factors that affect dental and oral health is parenting style. Parents are very important in maintaining good dental health behaviors such as adherence of brushing teeth before going to bed. Objective: To determine the relationship between parenting style and adherence of brushing teeth before going to bed in children at SD Muhammadiyah 06 Palembang. Methods: This study used a quantitative research with analytical observational method and a cross-sectional study design. The subjects in this study were parents of children at SD Muhammadiyah 06 Palembang with a stratified random sampling technique for 90 people. The instrument of this research is an online questionnaire regarding parenting style and adherence of brushing teeth. Result: There is a relationship between parenting style and adherence of brushing teeth before going to bed in children at SD Muhammadiyah 06 Palembang with P-value = 0.000 which means P- value
