A good grounding system is needed for the protection of company equipment and goods or objects around it. If the grounding system at a company is not good, it can result in leakage currents not being able to be channeled optimally back to earth, causing safety risks in terms of the use of electrical equipment. Increasingly advanced developments require the use of efficient tools so as not to spend energy, time and money just to use a good grounding system and use it temporarily. This research is to compare the resistance values of experimental and simulated electrodes. The results of the study prove that the simulated electrode wrapped in charcoal briquettes which has a length of 100 cm with a thickness of 3.81 cm charcoal briquettes has a smaller grounding resistance result when compared to a length of 50 cm which has a thickness of 7.62 cm charcoal briquettes with the lowest soil value 0.50 Ω when compared to a 50 cm long electrode with a grounding resistance value of 0.62 Ω and the result through the simulation was lower than the experiment conducted by Yusup Alkap
