To plan a coal utilization policy strategy, we need to know about the amount and quality of coal resources and reserves. Because coal is a reliable source for power plants that are widely used and have an economical price, as a result the demand for coal continues to grow, both for domestic and export needs, as well as the widespread use of coal. PT Triaryani is located in North Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province has a mining business license production operation area of 2143 hectares which has been in production since 2014 has coal resources of 330 million tons of coal in 2021. PT Triaryani in 2023 will increase the production target, so the company needs to make a new mining stage plan starting from the selection of equipment, increasing the number of fleets, and the right mine design that can support the company to achieve production targets. The benefits of planning mining techniques so that mining operations run safely and can meet the company's production targets. From the design obtained overburden that must be removed in the three pits of PT Triaryani in 2023 amounted to 6,196,570.14 bcm and total coal amounted to 3,964,533.82 tons with SR 1.5, in quarter 1 overburden amounted to 1,526,293.22 bcm and 411. 209.48 tons, in quarter 2 overburden amounted to 1,686,791.75 bcm and coal amounted to 1,181,244.52 tons, in quarter 3 overburden amounted to 1,756,865.09 bcm and coal amounted to 899,687.02 tons, in quarter 4 overburden amounted to 1,226,620.07 bcm and coal amounted to 1,472,392.80 tons. Then for planning tools used during 2023 amounted to 8 fleets of overburden tools and 6 fleets of coal getting tools. From the design and planning of equipment, PT Triaryani's mining operations can operate safely and achieve the company's production targets.
