PENGARUH RASIO AIR TERHADAP PEMBUATAN AGREGAT BERBAHAN DASAR FLY ASH DENGAN TEKNIK PEMANASAN TERHADAP SIFAT MEKANIK DAN FISIK
Lightweight concrete is one of the innovations in concrete materials by modifying its density or specific gravity to be lower than conventional concrete. Lightweight concrete can have an impact on reducing its own weight which in turn can be cost efficient. Not only that, by reducing the load of the structure, it will increase the resistance of the structure to earthquakes. One of the characteristics of concrete that is still the subject of current research is concrete that has a light weight or low density and at the same time has a high compressive strength so that the concrete can not only be applied to non-structural elements but can also be applied to structural elements in an area. construction. In this research, efforts were made to make lightweight aggregates from fly ash so that these aggregates can produce lightweight and strong concrete. In this study the materials used for the manufacture of aggregates were fly ash, clay, lime and water. The hardening method used is heating method with a certain temperature. The best test object produced in this study, namely the test object with code F65-CL20-Ca-15-R2-P with a density value of 991 Kg/m3, 56% water absorption, compressive strength of 7.2 MPa, and impact value by 54%. This test object meets the standard as a lightweight aggregate, but cannot be used as a building block for structural elements in construction according to SNI 2461-2002 standards.
