HUBUNGAN POLA HAID DAN SKALA NYERI PADA PASIEN ENDOMETRIOSIS DI RSUP DR MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG.
Background: Endometriosis is a disease characterized by the presence of tissue resembling the endometrium (uterine lining) outside the uterus. The most common pain symptoms of endometriosis are dysmenorrhea, chronic pelvic pain, and dyspareunia. Research at Dr. General Hospital Cipto Mangunkusumo, chronic pelvic pain for 82.5% of cases, dysmenorrhea for 81%, and infertility for 33.7%, while in RSUP dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang, the prevalence of endometriosis patients who experience pain is estimated at 74.2%. This study describes the relationship between menstrual patterns and pain scale in endometriosis patients at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang in 2021. Method: This type of research is an observational analytic study with a consecutive sampling design. The data used are secondary data in the form of medical records and primary data in the form of interviews with patients at the Obgyn Polyclinic of RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. The sample of this study were women with endometriosis who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Results: The results of the analysis of this study found a significant relation between age (p=0.025) and there were no significant relations between the menstrual cycle (p=0.178), menstrual duration (p=0.592), menstrual blood color (p=0.279), average blood volume (p=0.300), BMI (p=0.552) with pain scale in endometriosis patients. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between age and pain scale in endometriosis patients. There is no significant relationship between the menstrual cycle, menstrual duration, menstrual blood color, average blood volume, BMI and pain scale in endometriosis patients.
