GAMBARAN DURASI PENGGUNAAN MESIN CPB PADA PASIEN BEDAH JANTUNG KONGENITAL YANG DIRAWAT DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG TAHUN 2017-2022.
Background: Congenital heart disease is the most common malformation found in millions of newborns. Rapid advances in medical science have made it possible to carry out CHD management. The usual surgical treatment is open heart surgery which requires the use of cardiopulmonary bypass machine to replace the function of the heart and lungs. This study describes the overview of the CPB duration in congenital heart surgery patient that treated in RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang year 2017-2022. Method: This type of research is a descriptive observational study with a cross-sectional design. The data used is secondary data. The sample of this study were congenital heart surgery patients who used CPB machines during surgical interventions who met the inclusion criteria at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang in 2017-2022. Results: The majority of congenital heart surgery patients are male with majority age range of 2-5 years (preschool). The mean CPB time was 100,42 minutes and the AOX time was 63,28 minutes. The most common postoperative complications were bleeding. The average length of stay after surgery was 7,68 days. Conclusion: In the cyanotic surgery (TOF) the average CPB and AOX time were 140,92 ± 55,19 minutes and 86,28 ± 20,78 minutes. In acyanotic surgery, VSD type was 95,68 ± 52,06 minutes and 63,36 ± 28,58 minutes and ASD was 49 ± 10,63 minutes and 27,3 ± 6,14 minutes. Average CPB time, AOX time, and length of stay were found to be longer in cyanotic surgery compared to acyanotic surgery.
