Introduction: Scabies is an infectious disease caused by infestation of Sarcoptes scabiei variant hominis or its derivative products such as eggs, larvae, nymphs or scybala. The main symptoms scabies are pruritus nocturna (itching at night) and group itching. The diagnosis of scabies is established by identifying the cardinal signs of scabies. Scabies infection related to poor personal hygiene conditions. In addition, scabies is very susceptible to infecting individuals with high occupancy living conditions, such as individuals living in barracks, prisons, dormitories, orphanages and islamic boarding schools. Islamic boarding schools as Islamic-based education centers are spread out in various regions in Indonesia. This study aimed to determine the relationship between personal hygiene and the incidence of scabies. Methods: The research design was analytical observational cross sectional with the sample were student of Nurul Qomar Islamic Boarding School Palembang. Total amount of sample were 87 respondents Results: . The prevalence of scabies among Junior High School and Senior High School students at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Qomar was found to be 46%.
