PERENCANAAN SISTEM PENYALIRAN TAMBANG BATUBARA DI PT ANUGERAH COVINDO INDONESIA JOB SITE PT BANJARSARI PRIBUMI KABUPATEN LAHAT SUMATERA SELATAN
The open pit mining method applied to coal mining at PT Anugerah Covindo Indonesia has resulted in the formation of basins that have the potential to collect rainwater and groundwater. Water entering the mine forms puddles which disrupt the production process because there is no sump to control the water. Mine drainage system planning needs to be done to overcome the problems that exist at PT Anugerah Covindo Indonesia. This study aims to determine the total discharge of water entering the pit, analyze and design ideal sump dimensions, design pump requirements, and analyze and design settling pond dimensions. In this research, observations, calculations, and analyzes were carried out on rainfall data, catchment area, and total discharge of water entering and leaving the mine so that an ideal mine drainage system was obtained. Based on the research results, it was found that the total incoming water debit was 6,119.04 m3/day with a catchment area of 24.788 ha. The sump design is in the form of a truncated pyramid with an upper side length of 65 m and a lower side length of 55 m with a depth of 5 m which has a wall slope of 45° so that it has a volume of 18,041 m3. The pumping capacity is 6,1190.4 m3/day which will be pumped by 2 pump units which require a power of 44,791 kW. There are 6 settling pond compartments with a top side length of 30 m, a top width of 16 m, a bottom side length of 24 m, a bottom side width of 9 m with a depth of 3 m, and a wall slope of 45° so that each compartment has a volume of 1,059.41 m3 with a total volume 6,356.47 m3
