HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP TERHADAP PERILAKU PENCEGAHAN KANKER SERVIKS MELALUI VAKSINASI HPV PADA MAHASISWI FK UNSRI ANGKATAN 2019 - 2020
Introduction: Cervical cancer is a malignancy of the cervix (cervical) caused by abnormal growth of cervical epithelial tissue due to persistent infection with oncogenic high risk type human papillomavirus (HPV) (HR - HPV). To reduce the incidence of cervical cancer, it is necessary to carry out prevention by vaccination. According to Lawrence Green's theory, knowledge and attitudes influence cervical cancer prevention behavior. This study aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards cervical cancer prevention behavior through HPV vaccination Methods: This research is a descriptive analytic study with a cross sectional design with simple random sampling. The research sample was 96 students of PSPD FK Unsri Batch 2019 – 2020. Results: Data were processed using SPSS, univariate analysis and bivariate analysis were performed using the Chi-Square test. The most distribution of knowledge is good knowledge (84.4%), the most distribution of attitudes is positive attitude (92.7%) and the most distribution of behavior is behaving inappropriately (63.5%). Based on the Chi-Square test, there was no significant relationship between knowledge and cervical cancer prevention behavior through HPV vaccination (p>0.05) and no significant relationship between attitudes and cervical cancer prevention behavior through HPV vaccination (p>0.05). . Conclusion: There is no relationship between knowledge and attitudes of FK Unsri students Batch 2019 – 2020 through HPV vaccination as a cervical cancer prevention behavior.
