Habitual sugar-sweetened beverages (SSBs) consumption needs to be given special attention in public health because of its contribution to elevated blood glucose and increased body weight. Especially in medical students with high stress level, which is in risk of increasing frequency and volume of SSBs consumption. The aim of this study is to analyze the association between SSBs consumption with blood glucose level and nutritional status. A cross-sectional study was conducted using total sampling method involving 184 subjects of first year medical student. SSBs consumption were assessed with Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ), while fasting blood glucose used a glucometer. Body height and weight were measured with stadiometer and digital scale. Waist circumference were also measured by using tape measure. Data were analyzed by Kruskall Wallis, Mann Whitney, and Chi Square analysis test. In this study, we found significant association between SSBs consumption and fasting blood glucose, by its frequency (p value = 0.04) and its volume (p value = 0.04). A significant association was also found between volume of SSBs consumption and body mass index (p value = 0.02). Although there is no statistically significant association between frequency of SSBs consumption and BMI (p value = 0.16). We also found significant association between SSBs consumption and waist circumference (p value =
