Early marriage is a marriage bond that occurs between adolescents under the age of 20. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the role of peers and the incidence of marriage during the COVID-19 pandemic among the women in Kecamatan Gunung Kerinci. This is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional research design using purposive sampling and a sample size of 82 respondents. The statistical analysis carried out included univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using chi square and simple logistic regression, and multivariate analysis of multiple logistic regression types of risk factor models. The results showed that the prevalence of being married at an early age was 48.8%. From the results of multivariate analysis, it was found that there was no relationship between the role of peers and the incidence of early marriage after being controlled by the variables of education level, level of knowledge of early marriage, level of knowledge of reproductive health, cultural values, socio-economic family, and access to information. The conclusion of the study is that the role of peers is not related to the incidence of early marriage during the COVID-19 pandemic. Suggestions from this research are for the local health center to be able to capture all teenagers in their scope of work in order to provide education related to the risks and impacts that can be caused by marriage at an early age, which is more optimal, which can be in the form of counseling or leaflets to teenagers as a first step in reducing the incidence of early marriage..
