ANALISIS HUBUNGAN KADAR KALSIUM SERUM DENGAN KEJADIAN STUNTING PADA ANAK USIA 24 – 59 BULAN DI KABUPATEN MUARO JAMBI.
Calcium is a bone-forming mineral so if there is a deficiency of calcium in the blood it will inhibit cell division, growth and tissue repair so that it will affect body weight and height if the lack of weight levels can cause stunting. This study aims to analyze the relationship between serum calcium levels and the incidence of stunting in children aged 24–59 months in Muaro Jambi Regency. This type of research is observational analytic with univariate method using frequency distribution, bivariate using chi square and multivariate using logistic regression. Whereas based on the results of the study statistically there was a significant association between income with a p value of 0.036, mother's occupation p value 0.026, calcium intake p value 0.036 and serum calcium levels p value 0.08 with the incidence of stunting, then multivariate analysis was carried out and it was found that mother's occupation was a factor the most dominant with the incidence of stunting. In logistic regression there is a relationship between work and the incidence of stunting, but there is no significant relationship between serum calcium levels and the incidence of stunting in children aged 24-59 months in Muaro Jambi Regency.
