Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children under five as a result of chronic malnutrition so that children are too short for their age, about 144 million children under the age of 5 years are affected by stunting which can interfere with the cognitive potential of brain development, hinder their ability to learn as children, result in money as an adult, and fully contribute to society. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parental characteristics and child characteristics with the incidence of stunting. Methods: This research an analytic observational with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study was 107 children under five years. The tools used in this study were a questionnaire, Hb levels with an Hb meter, and stool examination using the Kato Katz method. With statistical analysis of chi square test and multivariate analysis using logistic regression test. Results: The study was obtained from 107 respondents as many as 41 (38.3%) respondents who experienced stunting, there was a relationship between parents' income with the incidence of stunting with p value
