HUBUNGAN PERILAKU DAN LINGKUNGAN TERHADAP KEJADIAN ISPA (INFEKSI SALURAN PERNAPASAN AKUT) PADA BALITA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS TANJUNG ENIM.
Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is an acute infection involving the organs of the upper respiratory tract and lower respiratory tract. This disease is also a cause of death under five in developed and developing countries. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between Behavior and Environment on the incidence of ARI in children under five in the Tanjung Enim Health Center working area. This study was conducted using a cross sectional design with the subjects studied were mostly families with toddlers aged zero to five years with a large sample of 106 respondents, namely mothers of toddlers. The sampling technique used is multistage random sampling. The results of the bivariate study used the chi square test. Multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression predictive model. The results of multivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between the presence of household members who smoked (PR = 6,474; 95%CI 2,066-20,281; p-value = 0.001), after being controlled by the variable area of ventilation, mother's action and mother's attitude towards the incidence of ARI in children under five. in the working area of Tanjung Enim Health Center. It is recommended for the community to apply a clean and healthy lifestyle for the home environment of family members and for the Tanjung Enim Health Center to carry out cross-sectoral collaboration in improving public health.
