ANALISIS PERBEDAAN PROFIL HEMATOLOGI PEKERJA TAMBANG YANG TERPAPAR EMISI PENAMBANGAN BATUBARA DAN PEKERJA KANTORAN DI PT. BUKIT ASAM TBK TANJUNG ENIM
PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk. companies engaged in coal mining that produce mining air emissions so that there are many workers who are exposed to these emissions. Air from mining activities enters the worker's body through the lungs' blood vessels and then into the blood circulation to be distributed throughout the body's cells. Blood is a carrier of oxygen and foreign components throughout the body. Blood consists of a complex fluid plasma in which the cellular elements namely erythrocytes, leukocytes, and platelets are located. This research is quantitative research using the Cross Sectional method. By examining the sample in this study using secondary medical check-up data totaling 213 respondents from PT. Bukit Asam, with a sampling technique that is Total Sampling technique. Data were analyzed univariate and bivariate using SPSS with independent t-test. The results of the bivariate study showed that the leukocyte value with a p-value of 0.001, and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate with a p-value of 0.08. In conclusion of the study, there is a difference in the mean value of Leukocytes and Ediculation Rate between mining workers who are exposed to coal mining emissions and office workers at PT. Bukit Asam Tbk. Suggestions from this study, workers should increase their consumption of water, always use anti-dust and carbon gas masks and check their health if there are ongoing health complaints.
