ANALISIS HUBUNGAN KONDISI LINGKUNGAN TEMPAT PENAMPUNGAN AIR (TPA) DENGAN KEPADATAN JENTIK NYAMUK AEDES SPP DI KECAMATAN SAKO KOTA PALEBANG.
Dengue fever is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus, which is then transmitted through the bite of the Aedes spp mosquito vector in which the mosquito breeding process is supported by environmental factors including landfill conditions, water sources, good temperature, humidity, and pH of the water which causes population density. Aedes spp mosquitoes become high. The purpose of this study was to analyze the environmental conditions of water reservoirs (TPA) on the determinants of the density of Aedes spp mosquito larvae in Sako District, Palembang City. This research is an analytic observational study using a cross sectional study design with the sampling technique carried out by the Cluster Proportional Sampling method so that a sample of 154 households spread across four villages in Sako District, then from each village a sample is taken using the Proportional Random Sampling technique. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate using chi-square test. The results showed that air temperature (p-value 0.001), water pH (p-value 0.0001), humidity (p-value 0.561), condition of water reservoirs (p-value 0.035), source of water reservoirs (p-value 0.025). There is a relationship between air temperature, water pH, and water reservoir conditions with the density of Aedes spp larvae in Sako District, Palembang City, and also there is no relationship between humidity and Aedes spp larva density in Sako District, Palembang City. It is necessary to check larvae on a regular basis to reduce the density of Aedes spp. mosquito larvae, the behavior of eradicating mosquito nests that can be done by sprinkling abate powder in a water reservoir.
