HUBUNGAN KEBIASAAN KONSUMSI JAJANAN DENGAN STATUS GIZI LEBIH PADA REMAJA PONDOK PESANTREN ITTIHADUL ULUM DI KOTA LUBUKLINGGAU.
Adolescents are one of the groups that are prone to nutritional problems, especially overweight and obesity. The prevalence of overweight in Lubuklinggau city from the age of 13-15 years is 15.38% while the prevalence of adolescents aged 16-18 years is 18.89%. (Riskesdas, 2019) Factors that cause overweight and obesity in adolescents are consuming too much snack food, consumption of sugary drinks, increased consumption of fast food (fast food), lack of physical activity, genetic factors, nutritional knowledge, age and gender. These factors include energy balance so that it has an impact on the incidence of overweight and obesity. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between snack consumption habits, age, gender, pocket money, and knowledge with more nutritional status among adolescents at the Ittihadul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Lubuklinggau City. This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. Respondents amounted to 56 people. Sample selection with purposive sampling technique. The data were processed by statistical tests and analyzed descriptively. The results of the analysis stated that there was no relationship between gender and overweight status. (p = 1,000), there is no relationship between age and overweight status (p = 0.655), there is a relationship between pocket money and more nutritional status (p = 0.000), there is no relationship between nutritional knowledge and overweight status (p = 0.634 ), there is a relationship between snacking habits and nutritional status (p= 0.001). The conclusion of this study is that there is no relationship between gender, age and nutritional knowledge with overweight status, there is a relationship between pocket money and snack habits with overweight status.
