Potato production activities are one of the main sources of income in Pulau Tengah Village, Jangkat District, Merangin Regency. The aims of this study were: (1) o analyzing what factors influence potato production in Pulau Tengah Village, Jangkat District, Merangin Regency. (2) to calculate the income of potato farmers on the effect of potato production in Pulau Tengah Village, Jangkat District, Merangin Regency. The study is located in Pulau Tengah Village, Jangkat District. Location selection is done purposively. The study was conducted in September 2022. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Potato production activity in Pulau Tengah Village begins with land processing, Planting, maintenance of the fertilization and spraying as well as the harvesting process. Simultaneously all variables have a significant effect on potato production, while partially the factors that effect potato production are land area, seeds, dan fertilizers. While the factors did not significantly effect potato production were labor, pesticides, length experience, and agricultural machinery. (2) the average income earned by potato farmers is greater than the production costs incurred, which is Rp. 54.059.706 per hectare of growing season.
