Tourism is one of the largest and fastest growing industries. Tourism on the world scene covers 10.4% of the world's total GDP and provides employment for 334 million people. However, tourism objects in Batang Hari Regency have not been mapped. In particular, there is no map of the distribution of Batang Hari Regency tourism that can be used as a reference by the community when they want to visit Batang Hari Regency. The purpose of this research is to apply Geographic Information Systems to tourism in Batang Hari Regency. The method used in the development of Geographic Information Systems in this study is the Y-Model Webgis Development Methodology, using PHP as a programming language and MySQL as a medium for databases. The results of this research are in the form of a website-based Geographic Information System that has the feature of managing sub-district and tourism data for the admin and can display the distribution of tourist objects in Batang Hari Regency.
