ANALISIS JUMLAH KONSUMSI BERAS DAN PANGAN TAMBAHAN DALAM RUMAH TANGGA YANG BERBEDA TINGKAT PENDAPATANNYA DI KELURAHAN AIR TEMAM KOTA LUBUKLINGAU.
Food is everything that comes from plants, livestock and fish that is filled with carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. Diversification of staple food consumption is a food selection process that does not depend on just one type, but rather on various food ingredients such as rice which can be replaced with staple foods, namely corn and cassava (cassava). This means that the more diverse and balanced the composition of the food consumed, the better the nutritional quality. The aims of this study were (1) to analyze the comparison of consumption of rice and rice substitutes for households at different levels of household income in Air Temam Village, Lubuklinggau 1 Selatan District, Lubuklinggau City. (2) Analyze what factors influence the consumption of rice and rice substitute food for the population in Air Temam Village, Lubuklinggau Selatan District 1, Lubuklinggau City. The research method used was a survey method by interviewing every housewife in each household income class with the help of a questionnaire with a sample of 45 respondents. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The low income group has a significant value (2-sided) of 0.001 with a t count of 10.723, the middle income group has a significant value (2-sided) of 0.001 with a t count of 11.231 and the the high income group has a significant (2-sided) value of 0.001 with a t count of 10.881. Of the three income groups, it can be said that there is a significant difference between rice food consumption and rice substitute food consumption in each of these income groups. (2) The factors that influence rice consumption in Air Temam Village are the number of family members at low and high incomes, which have no significant effect, namely income, price, education level of the head of the family, and age of the housewife. Meanwhile, in the consumption of food substitutes for rice, the factors that affect low and high incomes are the price of rice and the number of family members and the factors that have no effect are income, the education level of the head of the family, and the age of the housewife.
