As one of the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) has an obligation to implement good corporate governance (GCG) and good information technology governance (GIG). Based on instructions from the Mining Industry of Indonesia, abbreviated as "Mind ID," the majority shareholder or holding requires all SOEs to measure maturity levels with a minimum target level of 3 using the latest framework, namely COBIT version 5 or 2019. In 2021, PTBA has appointed an independent party to conduct maturity level measurement using the COBIT 2019 framework, and the average result obtained is 3.68 (defined). A re-measurement of the maturity level is carried out to ensure that the recommendations for improvement previously given have been followed up. In this research, it is necessary to map the COBIT 2019 Goals Cascade domain by identifying the needs of stakeholders to become more specific. Then, there are 4 (four) agreed processes that are the focus of this maturity level re-measurement based on the problems experienced by the organization, including process codes APO03, APO08, BAI05, and DSS06, which achieved level 3 on the previous maturity level measurement. Each process that has been determined will be assessed for its level of capability through a questionnaire prepared in accordance with the COBIT 2019 guidelines. The results of the capability level assessment will yield a maturity level value. The results of the maturity level show that the APO03, APO08, and DSS06 processes have reached level 5, while BAI05 is still at level 3. From the results of the gap analysis, the PTBA IT Working Unit expects the maturity level to reach the maximum level in each process. Because the BAI-05 process has not reached its maximum level, it is necessary to provide recommendations for improvement.
