Chili plants were a horticultural crop that was in great demand because people's needs continue to increase. The many obstacles to fulfilling the community's need for chilies are inseparable from attacks by pests and plant diseases (pathogens). The price of these plant products was very high in the market so that farmers were trying hard to control these pests and diseases. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of PHT by chili farmers in South Sumatra and determine the relationship between the accuracy of implementing integrated pest control by chili farmers and the conditions of pest and disease attacks in South Sumatra. The benefits of this research were information for farmers and readers regarding pest management. and integrated diseases by chili farmers in South Sumatra. This research was conducted in 3 districts representing South Sumatra including Banyuasin, Muara Enim, and Ogan Ilir Regencies. This research was conducted from August to December 2022. Data collection used the purposive sampling method for chili farmers with a minimum land area of 0.25 ha and were willing to be interviewed and their land could be observed. The number of sample farmers was measured proportionally for research effectiveness. The variables observed in the study were counting the number of sample farmers and the number of samples of pests and diseases found and then calculating the population, attack and intensity of pests and diseases as well as PHT scores carried out by chili farmers
