The livestock sector largely relies on feed as a source of energy for cattle growth and weight gain. The main problem with the conventional method for raising cattle is that it fluctuates and is dependent on the season. To resolve this issue, swamps must be used as non-traditional feed sources, specifically by utilizing swamp forages as ruminant feed. Termite bento grass, a swamp forage high productivity, has the potential to be utilized as ruminant feed, but when offered in a single form, it lacking the nutrition ruminants needed. This study aims to determine the effect of bento grass-based rations with the addition of lamtoro and Indigofera leaves on the digestibility of dry matter, ammonia (NH3), and pH in vitro. This research was carried out at the Animal Feed and Nutrition Laboratory, Animal Science Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sriwijaya from July to August 2022. This study used RAL (completely randomized design) with 4 treatments and 4 replications, namely: R0 : 70% Bento Grass + 30% Concentrate, R1 : 40% Bento Grass + 30% Concentrate + 30% Lamtoro, R2 : 40% Bento Grass + 30% Concentrate + 30% Indigofera, and R3 : 40% Bento Grass + 30% Concentrate + 15% Lamtoro + 15% Indigofera. The results showed that the digestibility of dry matter and N-NH3 had a significant impact, however the pH value had no discernable influence. The results showed that adding lamtoro leaves and Indigorefa grass to bento grass-based rations improved the digestibility value of dry matter, ammonia (NH3), while the pH value remained stable.
