UJI KINERJA MESIN PENIRIS (SPINNER) BAWANG GORENG MENGGUNAKAN LOW FREQUENCY (LF) INVERTER DENGAN SUMBER ENERGI BATTERY VALVE REGULATED LEAD ACID (VRLA) 24V DC.
This study aims to determine the performance of an oil draining machine using a Low Frequency (LF) Inverter with a 24V DC Battery Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) energy source. This research was conducted from February 2022 to April 2022 at the Department of Agricultural Technology and Laboratory of Biosystems, Agricultural Energy and Drafting, Faculty of Agriculture, Indralaya Campus, Sriwijaya University. The method used is a descriptive method by testing the oil draining machine with a VRLA battery with a voltage of 24 V DC which is converted using an LF Inverter into an AC voltage of 220 V, (50 Hz). The energy source for the battery comes from solar panels. The experimental time of the draining machine is 300 seconds with 10 times the conversion of AC and DC electric currents. The results of this study obtained data on the highest energy demand, namely 16.57 Wh on AC current and the lowest on DC current of 15.53 Wh with the same working capacity of 4.21 kg/hour. The highest percentage of draining is on AC current that is 20.64% and the lowest percentage is on DC current that is 16.91%. The largest electric voltage in AC current is 2260 V and the lowest electric current is DC electric current, which is 2224 V. AC current recorded an average figure of 0.96 A and DC electric current was 0.926 A. The highest percentage of solar panel data is the intensity sunlight of 1205.2 M/w2, and the lowest percentage of the intensity of sunlight on solar panels is at 1007.3 M/w2. Based on the results of the study showing the energy demand in the solar panel shows that the intensity of sunlight greatly affects the energy that enters the battery during the charging process.
