PREDIKSI PATH LOSS DENGAN PEMODELAN COST-231 PADA JARINGAN 4G LTE FREKUENSI 1800 MHZ DI RUTE 1 BUS TRANSMUSI KOTA PALEMBANG
Propagation is the existence of a signal sharing area from one place to another and is one of the most important perspectives of cellular wireless network planning. Prediction of path loss or commonly referred to as path loss is a detailed prediction whose role is to see the presence of electromagnetic wave disturbances in space, other factors that influence the disturbance are trees, long travel distances, and road width. This study aims to find the appropriate input and relational functions that are close to the propagation path loss. The study was conducted using the COST-231 model and analyzed the results of the accuracy of path loss predictions, as well as the effect of BTS height and also regional differences, namely urban, sub-urban and rural. The results of the calculation of path loss field data with path loss predictions show that the COST-231 modeling obtains the best prediction results because the error value obtained is 0.180. A good trendline type regression measurement to see the results of the influence of parameters on the actual and predicted data, or the effect of the path loss data on the field data with the predicted path loss using the COST-231 model is available using the polynomial type because the results of the regression calculation are greater than the linear type, exponential, logarithmic, and exponent. The results of the MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) calculation used in this study use a path loss prediction program of 20%, which means the forecasting model produced is good.
