PENERAPAN METODE HUMAN CENTERED DESIGN PADA PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN ASET
In the current era, information technology is increasingly important in various aspects of work, both in organizations, communities, and industries. STIKes Panca Bhakti Bandar Lampung Laboratory serves as a supporting place for students in conducting practicum that requires the use of special tools and materials. However, the lack of technology that can help in borrowing tools and materials in this laboratory causes difficulties for both laboratory personnel and students. Therefore, a laboratory asset management information system is needed designed to assist laboratory officers in data processing, especially asset lending data, as well as assist students in applying for laboratory asset loans for practicum needs. This research method will use a Human Centered Design (HCD) approach with stages of Inspiration, Ideation, and Implementation. The design results in the form of a prototype will be tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method questionnaire to determine the feasibility of using laboratory asset management information systems. Based on the results of the SUS score of 78.5 with the excellent category, it shows that the application design is feasible to use.
