IMPLEMENTASI THERMAL IMAGING PADA ALAT PENDETEKSI KERUSAKAN DAUN DAN MONITORING KELEMBABAN TANAH PADA TANAMAN CABAI BERBASIS IOT
Chili plants have an important role in Indonesian agriculture, but the risk of crop failure due to leaf damage and unsuitable soil moisture often occurs. To overcome this problem, this final project proposes the implementation of thermal maging on a tool for detecting leaf damage and monitoring soil moisture in chili plants based on IoT. The system uses the Amg8833 thermal camera as a temperature sensor with a range of 20℃ to 40℃. Soil moisture sensors are also used to provide information about the appropriate soil moisture level, with a value of 0% for very dry conditions, 40% for normal conditions, and 100% for wet conditions. The Arduino Uno microcontroller and the Esp8266 NodeMCU are used for control and communication with thermal cameras and soil moisture sensors, which are connected via Serial Rx/Tx communication. Real-time data communication is carried out through the Blynk application. This implementation allows farmers to monitor and control the condition of chili plants remotely, increasing productivity and reducing the risk of crop failure
