PEMANFAATAN MEDIA TANAM LUMPUR DI BB-04 PT. BUKIT ASAM TBK UNTUK TANAMAN LONGKIDA (NAUCLEA ORIENTALIS LINN.).
The resulting mud comes from the sedimentation of dissolved solids in acid mine water in mud settling ponds (KPL). This sedimentation process affects the useful life of the KPL, this is a problem faced by PT Bukit Asam Tbk. This research was conducted to be a solution to the problems faced by the company and evaluate the feasibility of new planting media for longkida plants (Nauclea orientalis Linn.). Longkida plants are used as one of the plants planted on post-mining land to improve post-mining land. This study was arranged in a randomized block design with 5 treatments and 5 replications. P1 = 100% Mineral soil, P2 = 100% mineral soil. P3 = 75% mineral soil + 25% mud, P4 = 50% mineral soil + 50% mud and P5 = 25% mineral soil + 75% mud so there are 25 samples. The results of the plant height study stated that the treatment given had no significant effect on the increase in longkida plant height. In treatment P1 with a composition of 100% mineral soil showed the highest average value with a value of 53.4 cm while the lowest average value was found in P4 with a composition of 50% mineral soil and 50% mud with a value of 41 cm. Based on the results of the analysis of the Laboratory of Chemistry, Biology and Soil Fertility, the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, indicates the soil pH H2O The highest was at P1 with a value of 4.88 and there was an increase in each treatment. At P1 nutrient levels tended to be higher than other treatments with an Total-N value of 0.16% which was classified as very low, Available-P of 21.22 mg/kg was classified as very high and Available-K was 0.32 cmol/kg which was classified as low.
