PEMBERIAN EKOENZIM DALAM AIR MINUM TERHADAP PERSENTASE KARKAS, IRISAN KARKAS KOMERSIAL DAN BOBOT ORGAN DALAM AYAM LOHMANN
The increasing public demand for livestock products led to the widespread use of feed additives as a meat growth driver. However, the effects of using feed additives had negative impacts on livestock and humans who consume them. Eco enzyme is expected to be a natural feed additive because it contains anti-bacterial organic acids. This study aimed to determine the effect of using eco enzymes in drinking water on the percentage of the carcass, commercial carcass slices and organ weight in Lohmann's chickens. This study used Lohmann chickens aged 1 day with a total of 96 tails obtained from PT JAPFA. This study used a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with 4 treatments and 6 replications. Treatment consisted of P0 (control), P1 (2.5 ml/liter eco enzyme + drinking water), P2 (5 ml/liter eco enzyme + drinking water), and P3 (7.5 ml/liter eco enzyme + drinking water). Variables observed included carcass percentage, commercial carcass slices (chest and thigh) and internal organ weights (liver, heart, Gizzard, lymph and small intestine). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that giving eco enzymes with treatment concentrations of 2.5 ml/ 1 liter to 7.5 ml / 1 liter of drinking water in Lohmann’s chicken had no significant effect on the percentage of carcass with a value of 59.49% - 62.49%, commercial carcass slices including breast carcass slices with a value of 52.41% - 53.33% and thigh carcass slices with a value of 51.85% - 47.59% and liver organ weight with a value of 2.58% - 2.86% , heart with a value of 0.49% - 0.56%, gizzard with a value of 3.92% - 4.36%, spleen with a value of 0.53% - 0.70%, length of the small intestine 10.14% - 10.63%.
