OPTIMALISASI INSTAGRAM DALAM PENGENALAN PRODUK GV KEBAYA DI KOTA PALEMBANG
Social media in the introduction of a product is a facility used by a company in communicating with customers. This thesis aims to find out the optimization of Instagram social media in introducing products to the GV Kebaya company engaged in kebaya rental which is located at Jalan Dwikora 2, Palembang City. The process of data collection and thesis research was carried out for 3 months starting from August to November which was carried out at the GV Kebaya object or boutique with 4 resource persons. To find out the optimization of Instagram social media, researchers use the 4C Social Media Marketing Theory put forward by Chris Heuer. Data collection in this thesis was carried out through bibliographical data and qualitative interviews with experienced informants who have authority or authority and understand the use of social media in identifying GV Kebaya products. The results of research and interviews show that there is an increase in product recognition through Instagram social media. The results of this study indicate that customers can get to know new products at GV Kebaya more quickly through Instagram then there is interest in customers coming to the boutique to see and do fittings on the new product, even though they have not rented it right away but they already know about the product and will rent it in the future the day when you need a kebaya.
