PENGUKURAN USABILITY APLIKASI AUGMENTED REALITY DESAIN MEBEL RUMAH DENGAN METODE HANDHELD AUGMENTED REALITY USABILITY SCALE
A house is one of the needs that is felt to be owned by someone today. To meet the needs of a comfortable, quiet, and happy home, residents of the house definitely need home furniture that is considered suitable for the house they have. However, in determining the choice of home furniture, customers have difficulty in visualizing home furniture with the state of the house directly. Augmented Reality (AR) technology is a technology that is able to visualize a real object into a 3D object form through a smartphone device. The advantages of this technology can provide a new experience for users so that users can see the visuals of the home furniture they want to buy. Therefore, to overcome this problem, an android-based application is proposed by utilizing Augmented Reality technology. This study uses a markerless-based AR method to get the size and position of the object as accurate as possible. Making applications using Unity and EasyAR software to support AR technology. The results of testing the AR application using the Handheld Augmented Reality Usability Scale (HARUS) calculation get 74% for manipulability and 76.22% for comprehensibilty, so the total score MUST be 75.04%.
