This study aims to analyze the development and the effect of Governance Index and Human Development Index on Economic Growth in Indonesia in both the long and short term. The data used secondary data such as time series, 2000-2020. The data was obtained from the United Nations Development Programme, World. The analytical method in this study used Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL). The results of this study indicate that the corruption control index has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in the long term, but in the short term it has a positive and insignificant effect on economic growth. The government effectiveness index in the short and long term has a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth. The regulatory quality index in the long term has a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth but in the long term has a positive and insignificant effect on economic growth. While the human development index in the long term and short term has a positive and significant effect on economic growth.
