INDEKS PRODUKSI INDUSTRI, PENERIMAAN PAJAK DAN PERPUTARAN UANG STUDI KOMPARASI INDONESIA DAN MALAYSIA.
This study analyzes the effect of Industrial Production Index, Tax Revenue, Short Term Interest Rate and Inflation on Velocity of Money (M1 and M2) in a comparative study of Indonesia and Malaysia. This study compares Indonesia and Malaysia with the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) Method and using data time series monthly period from January 2010 to December 2020. The results of this study indicate that in the short term, the Industrial Production Index has a negative effect on the Velocity of Money (M1) in Indonesia and has a positive influence on the Velocity of Money (M2) in Indonesia while in Malaysia it has a positive effect on the Velocity of Money (M1 and M2). In the long term, the Industrial Production Index only has a positive effect on the Velocity of Money (M2) in Malaysia. In addition, in the short term, Inflation and Tax Revenue have a negative effect on the Velocity of Money (M1 and M2) in Indonesia and Malaysia, while in the long term it has no effect at all. Meanwhile, the Short Term Interest Rate has a positive effect on the Velocity of Money (M1 and M2) in the short term in Indonesia and in Malaysia it has a negative effect on the Velocity of Money (M1 and M2). In the long run it has no effect at all.
