This study aims to determine the effect of per capita GRDP, Regional Original Income, and Government Expenditures on the Human Development Index in South Sumatra Province. This study uses secondary data in the form of cross-section data and time series data in the form of annual data for 2015-2020 (6 years) in 15 districts/cities in South Sumatra Province. The data source was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of South Sumatra Province. With the panel data regression technique, the results showed that the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) had a positive influence on the Human Development Index (IPM). Regional Original Income (PAD) affects the Human Development Index (IPM) in Regencies/Cities in South Sumatra during 2015-2020. Government spending has had a positive effect on the human development index in districts/cities in South Sumatra Province from 2015-2020.
