This study aims to analyze the level of efficiency and competitiveness of the cocoa industry in Indonesia. This research data is obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and International Trade Center. . In this research, the analytical tool used to measure the level of efficiency is Stochastic Frontier analysis (SFA) using the Cobb-Douglas production function as the Frontier production function. Meanwhile, to measure competitiveness using Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA). The results of this study indicate that the variables of capital, labor and raw materials have a positive and significant effect on the output of the cocoa industry. The cocoa industry in Indonesia is fairly inefficient with the average technical efficiency level obtained is 0.51. Indonesia has the strength of competitiveness and comparative advantage in cocoa commodities, as evidenced by the calculation of the Revealed Competitive Advantage (RCA) method which has a value of 8.19.
