This study aims to determine how the effect of career development on the work performance of the employees of the South Sumatera Provincial Health Office. The population in this study amounted to 73 people. The sampling method used in this study used a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire. This study uses simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that career development has a positive and significant effect on the work performance of the employees of the South Sumatera Provincial Health Office.
