The problem raised in this study is the character values contained in the novel Pesan dari Sambu by Tasmi P.S. and its implications for learning literature in high school. The theory of character education values used in this study uses the theory of character education according to the Ministry of National Education. The method used in this study uses a qualitative method with the data source of the novel Pesan dari Sambu. The purpose of this study is to find out the character values contained in the novel Pesan dari Sambu and its implications for learning literature in high school. The results of this study indicate the character values contained in the novel Pesan dari Sambu. There are 14 character values in the novel Pesan dari Sambu, namely religious, honest, tolerance, curiosity, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, respecting achievement, friendly, peace-loving, caring for the environment, social care, and responsibility.
