PENERAPAN CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRM) PADA SISTEM INFORMASI PENJUALAN FURNITURE JATI BERBASIS WEB (STUDI KASUS: TOKO SALWA JATI PALEMBANG)
A decrease in income when doing business indicates that the business is not running well. There are many factors that can affect a business not running well, one of these factors is the existance of intense business competition. This intense business competition will make it difficult for a company to expand the scope of sales to get new customers and retain old customers. These businessmans need to have creatice and innovative abilities to be able to offer their products/services so that they can attract new customers and retain old customers from turning to their business competitiors. To overcome this, it is necessary to build a customer loyalty and improve communication between businessman and their customers. This research has the purpose to build a system at Salwa Jati Store so that it can make it easier for customers to get the information customers need and make purchase transactions without the need to come directly to the store. Besides that it will help the Salwa Jati Store in attracting new customers and retaining old customers. This research produces a teak furniture sales information system that has implemented a sales strategy namely Customer Relationship Management (CRM). With the implementation of this strategy in the sales information system, it can help the Salwa Jati Store in providing the information customers need, simplify purchase transactions, expand the scope of sales, and provide promo menu that can attract new customers and retain old customers so as to increase revenue and increase relationship between businessman and customers.
