One of the processes that exist in educational institutions such as schools is the acceptance of new students. New student admissions (PPDB) is a series of schools that is carried out every year. This final project focuses on designing and building a website for new student admissions at SD Muhammadiyah 5 Palembang which aims to make it easier for schools to disseminate complete information regarding the acceptance of new prospective students that can be accessed by teachers, prospective new students, parents, and the community. In this study the authors used software development methods, namely the waterfall method, the PHP programming language. , CodeIgniter framework and MySQL as database.
