SISTEM PENCARIAN AYAT AL-QUR’AN BERDASARKAN KEMIRIPAN PENGUCAPAN MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMA DOUBLE METAPHONE DAN JARO-WINKLER DISTANCE
In The Qur'an there are 114 surahs and 6236 verses, so it is not easy to search for words manually. Most of the search system available today uses Arabic alphabet or exact string matching techniques. This will cause difficulties for people who do not know the exact Arabic of the verse. Because of that, we need a search system for verses of The Qur'an with stiring matching techniques based on similarities in pronunciation. In this study the selected phonetic string matching method is the Double metaphone algorithm. In Double metaphone algorithm, words are converted into primary and secondary phonetic codes. After getting the words that have the same phonetic code, the rank of similarity is measured using the Jaro-Winkler distance algorithm to see the results with high similarity. The test results of the software obtained a precision value of 0.90, a recall value of 0.90, and a correlation value of 0.92.
