PT Cloudaron Jaya Indonesia merupakan suatu perusahaan yang memiliki sistem dengan kompleksitas yang cukup luas, dimana dalam perusahaan tersebut terdapat beberapa divisi didalamnya dan salah satu divisi tersebut ialah divisi Software Engineering. Divisi Software Engineering merupakan divisi yang bertugas melakukan analisa, membuat rekayasa, menyusun spesifikasi, mengimplementasikan dan memvalidasi suatu rancangan sistem perangkat lunak untuk menjawab suatu permasalahan, dimana karyawan yang ada membutuhkan peningkatan kualitas dikarenakan tidak sesuainya karakteristik antara team divisi tersebut dengan team leader. Sebuah perusahaan dengan sumber daya manusia di sebuah divisi membutuhkan peningkatan kualitas demi mengembangkan usaha yang ada pada perusahaan tersebut. Pengambilan keputusan merupakan faktor yang akan menentukan keberhasilan suatu organisasi dalam mencapai tujuannya. Namun, hingga saat ini pemilihan team leader masih dilakukan berdasarkan penilaian subjektif yang dilakukan oleh pihak perusahaan dikarenakan belum adanya media penunjang yang digunakan sebagai instrument penilaian pada divisi tersebut sehingga hal tersebut dirasa kurang efektif, efisien, serta terbilang memakan waktu, mengingat banyaknya karyawan. Berdasarkan dari permasalahan tersebut, peneliti membangun sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan dalam pemilihan team leader pada divisi Software Engineering menggunakan metode SMART dan beberapa kriteria seperti kriteria pengalaman kerja, kriteria pelatihan leader shift, kriteria wawasan, kriteria kejujuran dan kriteria komunikasi antar tim. Selain itu, dalam mengimplemtasikannya peneliti menggunakan Bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL sehingga menghasilkan perangkingan dari alternatif karyawan divisi Software Engineering. PT Cloudaron Jaya Indonesia is a company that has a system with a fairly wide complexity, where in the company there are several divisions in it and one of these divisions is the Software Engineering division. The Software Engineering Division is a division in charge of analyzing, making engineering, compiling specifications, implementing and validating a software system design to answer a problem, where existing employees need quality improvement due to incompatible characteristics between the division team and the team leader. A company with human resources in a division needs quality improvement in order to develop the existing business in the company. Decision making is a factor that will determine the success of an organization in achieving its goals. However, until now the selection of team leaders is still carried out based on subjective assessments carried out by the company because there is no supporting media used as an assessment instrument in the division so that it is considered ineffective, efficient, and somewhat time consuming, considering the large number of employees. Based on these problems, researchers built a decision support system in the selection of team leaders in the Software Engineering division using the SMART method and several criteria such as work experience criteria, leader shift training criteria, insight criteria, honesty criteria and communication criteria between teams. In addition, in implementing it, researchers use PHP and MySQL programming languages so as to produce a ranking from alternative employees of the Software Engineering division.
