This study discusses the role of Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited in financing international trade in Indonesia. In this study the researcher aims to see how the role of HSBC bank in facilitating international trade activities in Indonesia is. The research method used by the researcher is a qualitative method. The data used is secondary data obtained through documents/documentation, books, journals, and internet-based. The results of the study are shown through four indicators, namely hsbc as a provider of funds providing banking services to multinational companies, large local companies, financial institutions including the public sector and institutions, hsbc as a provider of financial products providing import, export, trade loans, structure trade finance, LC services , commodities and structure trade finance, hsbc as a loan provider, namely rebranding to help develop MSMEs in increasing their business, hsbc as a source of information, namely providing information related to international trade. Based on these four indicators, it can be seen that HSBC plays a role in facilitating international trade activities such as exports and imports through the various facilities provided and the products offered.
