This study discusses "The Role of Sinergi Sriwijaya Peduli Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Overcoming the Clean Water Crisis Problem in Marga Sungsang, Banyuasin." Marga Sungsang is lack of clean water, thus it is hoped that the government and private institutions such as NGO take a role on it . In general, this study aims to determine the role of Sinergi Sriwijaya Peduli Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in overcoming the clean water crisis in Marga Sungsang, Banyuasin. Meanwhile, it specifically discovers the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of Sinergi Sriwijaya Peduli Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in overcoming the clean water crisis in Marga Sungsang, Banyuasin. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The purposive technique is employed to collect the informant of this study. Furthermore, the data collecting is compiled by observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study show that the role of Sinergi Sriwijaya Peduli Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in overcoming the clean water crisis in Marga Sungsang is as a motivator, communicator, dynamist, and facilitator. Supporting factors for the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Sinergi Sriwijaya Peduli in overcoming the clean water crisis problem in Marga Sungsang consist of : 1) Establishment of good social relations between individuals (volunteers and volunteers) and between individuals and groups (community and NGO Sinergi Sriwijaya Peduli), 2) There is financial assistance from donors, 3) There is an evaluation at the end of the activity. As for the inhibiting factors are: 1) A persuasive approach with the community takes a long time, 2) The distribution of clean water using a tank car is considered less effective and efficient.
