The purpose of this research to known the level of effectiveness and contributions of stamp duty tax to tax revenues for 2016-2020 in KPP Madya Palembang City. This riset uses a qualitative method approach. Meanwhile the authors analyzed data using quantitative analysis techniques by primary data from short interviews and secondary data. Based on the results of data analyzed and discussion by the author suggest that the effectiveness of stamp duty tax revenue on tax revenue at the KPP Madya Palembang on average has reached the target and the level of effectiveness above 100% tends to be very effective. However, the contribution of stamp duty tax revenue is still in the very low category. Even so, stamp duty tax is not the only source of tax revenue because there are other types that are used as sources of income. Keywords: Effectiveness, Contribution and Stamp Duty Tax.
