Indonesia has a variety of cultures and characteristics of each city. The variety of cultures that Indonesia has is a capital to build the nation and an advantage for the Indonesian people because it contains a varied and complete cultural picture. Lubuklinggau is a small city in South Sumatra that has regional culture and a durian fruit icon as a characteristic of the city which is poured into a distinctive wastra Lubuklinggau city itself. The development and increasing interest in world fashion as well as Indonesian literature which is quite in demand by foreign people, has made the Lubuklinggau city government decide to spread its wings to international fashion shows to promote Indonesian culture, especially to build the image and characteristics of the city of Lubuklinggau. Through Milan Fashion Week, durian batik was introduced in the international arena along with the debut of the JYK label, which is a ready-to-wear fashion label from Indonesia. This study describes the efforts of the Lubuklinggau City Government in Promoting Durian Batik at Milan Fashion Week in 2021. This study uses the framework of the concept of cultural diplomacy, namely an exhibition with three strategies for implementing cultural diplomacy, namely connection, consistency, and innovation.
