STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI PERSUASIF RUMAH SAKIT KHUSUS MATA MASYARAKAT PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN DALAM PENYULUHAN PASIEN PERAWATAN PASCA OPERASI KATARAK
One of the efforts to convince other people so that the public act and behave as expected by communicators is persuasive communication. As well as persuasive communication that occurred to extension workers and patients at the Special Eye Hospital for the People of South Sumatra Province. This study examines how the persuasive communication strategy of the Special Eye Hospital Society of South Sumatra Province. This study describes the implementation of strategies in the form of counseling how to invite patients and their families in caring for patients after cataract surgery. The theory used in this study is the theory of persuasive communication strategies by Soemirat and Suryana. The elements of communication, which have 5 dimensions, include persuasion, perception, persuasive messages, persuasive channels, feedback & effects. Persuasion to be used. This study uses a qualitative method approach that will produce descriptive data in the form of words from the results of in-depth interviews with selected informants. Data collection in this study was carried out by observation to see firsthand how the strategy of the special eye hospital for the people of South Sumatra province in counseling patients after cataract surgery. In addition, there is also documentation in the form of photos supporting the results of the researchers' observations. The results showed that the Special Eye Hospital for the people of South Sumatra province has implemented a persuasive communication strategy based on these five dimensions, the persuasive communication strategy will be assessed and searched for whether there are changes that occur during the persuasive process. In the implementation of counseling, there are also supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the persuasive communication strategy of the Special Eye Hospital for the people of South Sumatra Province in counseling patients after cataract surgery.
