IMPLEMENTASI KINERJA PEGAWAI PADA BIDANG SUB BAGIAN UMUM DAN KEPEGAWAIAN DI DINAS PEKERJAAN UMUM DAN PENATAAN RUANG KOTA PALEMBANG
This research is motivated by a decrease in work discipline from employees which has an impact on employee performance, especially in the General and Civil Service Sub-Division at the Palembang City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office. This research is also related to the assessment of the achievement of work targets which have a high enough value and are not in accordance with what is happening in the field. This study aims to reveal employee work discipline whose impact appears when achieving employee performance in the General and Civil Service Sub-Division at the Palembang City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office. The theory used is the performance theory proposed by A.A, Anwar Prabu Mangkunegara (2016: 75) with four indicators, namely quality of work, quantity of work, implementation of duties and responsibilities. This method uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, documentation and field observations. The results of this study indicate that the employee's discipline in this field is not in accordance with the achievement of the work target value in 2021 because work discipline towards employees is one of the factors in achieving employee performance. there are many shortcomings in the field. In this study, the authors suggest adjusting the assessment of the achievement of work targets for employees who do a good job so that in achieving performance goals, employees can see the quality and quantity of work achieved by an employee in carrying out work that is in accordance with the responsibilities given.
